| The DFID funded Nigeria Federal Public Administration Reform Programme (FEPAR) is seeking qualified candidates for the roles of Team Leads on Planning and on Policy Coordination. Background/Rationale The purpose of the Federal Public Administration Reform (FEPAR) programme is to strengthen core Federal Government of Nigeria systems and capacity to deliver effective public services. It focuses on five reform areas including support to central policy and planning coordination, civil service reform, public financial management, service improvement and external accountability. Applications are invited from suitable candidates for two vacant positions of Team Leads on Central Policy Coordination and Central Planning Coordination. FEPAR partners in these areas include the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF) and National Planning Commission (NPC). The Candidate The right candidate for the role of Component Lead should poses the following qualifies a) At least 10 years' experience working in senior management position in subject related organizations or in development programmes, b) Demonstrable experience and understanding of the role and importance of the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF) and National Planning Commission (NPC) as the case maybe. c) Ability to manage resources towards the achievement of specific objectives as contained in the programme log frame d) Appreciable skills in the following areas: Project planning Monitoring and Evaluation Delivering interventions to achieve milestones and targets in a policy management log frame Stakeholder/relationship management e) Capacity for creative thinking with a view to achieving agreed objectives with the FEPAR programme and other stakeholders Timing and Inputs These are long term and full time positions starting January 2, 2013 to December 31, 2014, with possibility of extension if mutually agreed.
