Main Role of HR To deliver quality services internally so that FIRS can have "high performing and aligned employees". These roles should be able to deliver wider business objective of building relationship/coalitions with line managers and other stakeholders. To develop a highly skilled and motivated work force. To effectively manage staff records, recruitment, promotion, job evaluation, welfare issues, and payroll administration. To address staff discipline and grievances issues fairly and efficiently in a timely manner. To develop, improve and communicate HR policies processes and also monitor adherence in tandem with Servicom Charter. Build effective succession plans for the growth and stability of FIRS. To liaise with relevant Departments in staff development and capacity building. To gradually and systematically build employee capacity that will compliment the ageing workforce via recruitment, head hunting, transfer and secondment. To properly place staff based on assessment programme that will enable management to identify skills/competency possessed by such officers and carryout organizational design that would determine the required manning levels.
